About Me

I was born in Venezuela, the youngest of five children. Thanks to my father’s work, I had the opportunity to travel all over the world and have lived in Africa, Asia, North, Central and South America, and Europe. I speak English, Spanish and French fluently, and enjoyed the opportunity to learn firsthand about many different cultures around the world.

I am a proud mother of three, and a grateful grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters. I love to spend time with my family, who are the fuel and energy for my everyday life. I am a strong believer in carrying positive energy always, because it not only builds character but also strong leadership at work, at home, and with family and friends. My hobbies include writing, playing tennis, and enjoying good dining experiences.

Previous Experience

I brought 14 years of experience in the financial industry with me to Vocalink Global. My work centered on financial analysis, loans, title, escrow and portfolio management. My experience in the financial industry taught me the value of fostering long-lasting client relationships and the importance of ensuring the confidentiality and security of client data. Prior to my work in the financial industry, I spent ten years working in account management at the oldest newspaper in Bolivia, ”El Diario,“ founded in 1904.  I studied law at the Universidad Católica Boliviana in La Paz, Bolivia. My diverse background and education, combined with my love of language, brought me to Vocalink Global in 2011. As the Branch Manager for our Dayton-Cincinnati region, I call on my experience in financial analysis and portfolio management to meet service-level agreement metrics for our interpreting clients on a daily basis.

How I Create Client Value

My background gives me a unique perspective in understanding different cultures. This allows me to help my clients and teammates find common ground to work together toward success. I put this to work especially when helping clients understand how to work with interpreters, patients, and other Limited English Proficient individuals from different cultures.

My Thoughts About Vocalink

For me, Vocalink Global equals passion. Everyone at Vocalink Global is passionate about what we do and helping the people and brands in our community and across the globe be heard and understood. When I close my computer before going home in the evening, I don’t see numbers. I see the businesses, doctors, lawyers, employers, families, and others we were able to help that day. I’m excited to do it again the next day because, in my heart, I know that Vocalink Global cares.
